WBUR - What Will It Take To Save America's Small Businesses?

Derek Peebles, Executive Director of American Independent Business Alliance, was featured as a guest on WBUR’s On Point to discuss the rollout of the Paycheck Protection Program and its failures to meet the needs of small business owners. In particular, Peebles pointed out that the funds were not going to independent businesses as many banks were giving priority to larger businesses with which they had pre-existing relationships. “Countless businesses that we represent never really stood a chance,” Peebles said.
